 Len Clive good person',bgpref= | “A” for “effort”. rnCamera - great, lighting - perfect, sound - excellent, bg sound & foley art - I’m jealous, performance - super it’s really tough to capture your audience with a solo performer. Not many can do it music - captivating but repetitive, like the script. I’m sad I invested the time.rnKept giving it the benefit of the doubt but if you watched the first 10min and the last 2min you’ve watched the whole movie. Everything in between is filler, rinse and repeat first 10min. Other than that - well done. Don’t give up just get a better script. |
 Protea Pixel | The Head Hunter has a great dark atmosphere and impressive effects for such a low-budget film. The world feels gritty and unsettling, and the mood is easily its strongest point.rnrnThat said, it’s very slow. The story is minimal, scenes drag at times, and it doesn’t explore its interesting world as much as it should. If you’re not into extremely quiet, mood-first movies, it can feel a bit empty.rnrnOverall, solid atmosphere, weak storytelling. Worth a watch if you like slow, artsy horror.rnrnā Rating: 3/5 |
